The Sea Cadet National Awards were announced yesterday and we’re delighted to announce that our unit has been awarded the Captain’s Cup!
This prestigious award is given to units that, while not securing one of the top two spots in the Canada Trophy competition, have still made a lasting and standout impression on the Captain Sea Cadets .
Originally known as the Commodore’s Cup, it was first introduced by Commodore R. M. Parker of the Royal Navy
👏 It marks the first time in our unit’s history that we’ve received this honour. This award is a testament to the dedication, passion, and teamwork of everyone involved in making MK such a strong, spirited, and supportive unit.
To all our cadets, volunteers, UMT, PSA members and families — thank you for everything you do. You’ve helped make this possible.
A huge shoutout as well to our Southern Area friends, at Jersey Sea Cadets & Royal Marines Cadetsy Sea Cadets, on their fantastic achievement in receiving the Cleverly Award!
