What a week we had down in Weymouth! ☀️🌊
Fourteen cadets and seven volunteers made the long journey to Weymouth National Boat Station last week for the Sea Cadets Oxon & Bucks District Summer Camp.
Our cadets took on mountain biking 🚵♂️, powerboating 🚤, windsurfing 🏄♀️, rowing 🚣♂️, and paddlesports 🛶, gaining new skills and developing existing ones. They racked up lots of boating hours and earned new qualifications, all while having loads of fun 😃, making friends 🤝, and exploring sunny Weymouth in brilliant weather ☀️.
A huge thank you to our volunteers, who were key in delivering instruction, providing duty cover, and transporting cadets. 🙏
A special shout-out to our own S/Lt Cole, whose hard work in planning and running the course ensured a fun-packed week for our cadets, from the moment we left the unit till we got back again! 🎉
